Borna&Fils premiered their Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Collection on Cro a Porter – Croatian Fashion week. And yes, you read it right – it’s WINTER collection! Colorful, playful, different, yet very feminine and powerful at once – the collection took media and public attention, proclaiming it one of the best at this fashion event.
Exotic patterns on cotton fabric with warm multilayered lining are the basic components of Borna&Fils Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection called „Aloha to Winter Chill“.
Flower Hawaiian print, usually associated with the tacky clothing souvenirs, which became a symbol of kitsch, are in this collection interpreted in a completely new way. Simple lines in synergy with the avant-garde details flirt with the glamour of idle ladies from Palm Springs, who are incarnations of modern living of the mid last century. Despite its retro tone, collection is the projection of the futurism; it invites you to make a statement wearing it. It will be hard to resist it as it screams I know who I am, and what I want, follow me!
